Welcome to Kindergarten!
My Educational Journey
My educational journey began in North Platte, Nebraska at McKinley Elementary school. In third grade my family moved to California and I attended Spencer Williams Elementary. In fifth grade we moved back to North Platte and I finished my elementary days at Cody Elementary. Next I attended Adams Junior High and then graduated from North Platte Senior High school.
I attended Mid Plains Community College in North Platte where I received an Associate of Arts degree. I transferred to Kearney State College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in education. I earned my Master of Arts degree from the University of Nebraska in 2009.
I taught second grade for two years at Buffalo Elementary school in North Platte before moving to Lincoln. Before coming to Roper, I taught preschool part time for the YWCA’s Y’s Owls program here in Lincoln.
I have always enjoyed the excitement, joy, and enthusiasm of young children. I believe each child is unique and brings different strengths to the classroom. I am excited to work with you and your kindergartner. I’m honored to be a part of your child’s educational journey!
